Saves Time, Makes You Look Better Anyone who has ever changed their clothes more than a few times in front of the mirror, just trying to get that oh-so fashionable look, knows exactly how stressful and time-consuming the process can be. Somehow you always seem to get bogged down with this at the very moment that you are hurrying to be on time for a special event. Most people don’t realize it, but this is the incunabula of the term “fashionably late.” It’s a real problem. In fact it has been calculated by the Institute of Statistical Analysis that the average person spends approximately 0.86 years (with an error margin of +/- 1.2 days) of their life engaged in this activity. That’s almost an entire year of your entire life wasted while just trying on clothes!  Well, now, finally, today, with an inexpensive webcam, digital camera or smart phone anyone can use this ingenious software to “virtually” try out their finest combinations in rapid succession, neatly unencumbered by the burdensome space-time demands which are otherwise inescapably imposed upon us by the physical world. See how you will look right down to your socks, shoes, underwear and jewelry, without so much as lifting a hanger, touching a fabric, or repositioning a torso. Imagine all of the precious time that you can save when you forgo putting your clothes on and taking them off and putting them back on again. And again. And again. While useful for anyone who cares about their appearance, I believe this is particularly helpful to clothing-conscious women and their patience-challenged boyfriends or husbands. I trust this does not sound overly sexist of me. Fact is, I have already purchased this product for my wife and for several of my occasional girlfriends. I am using it myself as well. Hopefully therefore, mine is a meaningful endorsement. Though I do obviously support the program, I would suggest that the developer consider the addition of user-configurable “skins”, as the illustrations that are built into the program may not be of universal appeal.  In closing, I believe that the more time we can all spend sitting in front of our computers, our smart phones, our sundry electronic devices and artificial technologies — and the less time we waste pacing around aimlessly here and there, and thrashing our limbs about ridiculously in the “real world” — the faster our species will evolve towards the inevitable cyber-sapient future. With the advent of indisputable global warming, climate change and polar melting, anything that increases pressure for our evolution away from expensive, vulnerable, biological fuel-inefficient body forms, and towards more sustainable, renewable, robust, techno-biological hybridized life support structures — is desirable. In this light, Dress Assistant is a most welcome development for ourselves, for our planet, and for our progeny.

If you're a fop and and a coxcomb ( or the female equivalent thereof) and just can't stop your clothing addiction then Dress Assistant is for you. And so is an adequate number of sessions with a psychotherapist If you're sane, centered and level headed and just believe in keeping things simple and not indulging in obscene excess, then move on 'cause there's nothing here for you.

Dress Assistant has made life for Mey Ling, my personal valet. masseuse, concubine, and sex toy so much easier. Dressing me each day is now a cinch. My wardrobe containing 85 suits, 50 sport jackets, 120 pairs of shoes, 165 shirts , 140 ties, 200 pairs of underpants(in assorted colors), and 125 pairs of socks ( and more items added all the time)) was a nightmare to wade through without Dress Assistant. Now, she just fires up the Mac, coordinates my outfit for the day or occasion and dresses me with aplomb., whistling a happy tune all the while. Long live conspicuous consumption. If you've got the bread, gloat and spend it....If you don't, eat your heart out Shop till you drop!.

It was funny in _Clueless_ because it was a dumb idea.

Wow! I can't believe that such a program exists. My dreams are answered. Now when I wake up, instead of going to my closet and seeing what is there, I will sit naked infront of my computer, mix and match clothing for 20 minutes using this program, and then go to my closet to see what is there. Utility has a new name and it's called Dress Assistant 1.5!
